Pre-requisites for entry into training and certification of the 100-hour practical course:

  • Evidence of a recognised certificate in Anatomy and Physiology Academic NQF Level 4 or Level 5 (eg A Level or higher) or are, or have been, a Doctor, Nurse, Physiotherapist, Nutritionist, Naturopath etc. *Course also available to entry-level students and we can provide Anatomy & Physiology course at additional cost.

  • Proof of CPR or First Aid Training. *This qualification can be updated or completed with a certified partner at our clinic for an additional cost.

  • The student should have experienced 3 colonic sessions themselves prior to commencing training. This recommendation can be waived if the student has contraindications to receiving colonics.

  • Informal Interview with Tutor to discuss practicalities, suitability and career progression before Practical training commences.

Payment upfront allows full course access and support throughout.  Or split the cost into 4 payments, to get staged access to the modules.  Training includes 4 theory modules, practical clinic hours, student enrolment and exam.

 

The theory modules are as follows:

  1. Theory and Practice of Colonic Hydrotherapy, including Digestive disorders and contraindications to treatment.  A & P Refresher Pre-test and Colouring Book.

  2. Anatomy and Physiology of the digestive system, including a Presentation and written exam. 

  3. Designing Care Plans: Understanding client concerns based on the Biopsychosocial model of healthcare. Including health coaching and dietary supplements.

  4. Entrepreneurship: Running a successful colonic hydrotherapy practice, including Inner Angel protocols for daily operations and how to constantly maintain first-class service.

There are 3 assignments, a presentation and an A&P exam to complete, ideally prior to commencing your Practical clinic training.  The theory modules can be consolidated during 100 hours of practical training at the Newry clinic*.

 

*Note we also offer Practical training at our sister London clinic.  NDA must be signed before commencing training (given clientele) and additional cost of £1000 occurs.
